Taylor McGee
Taylor is a litigation associate whose practice includes commercial litigation involving multimillion-dollar assets, along with legal malpractice and medical malpractice matters. Her work spans all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings, and settlement proceedings, with a focus on strategic case management and client engagement. Her appellate experience includes drafting a brief that protected valuable family-owned properties from third party interference. She has also successfully obtained a dismissal with prejudice of a legal malpractice action at the pleading stage. Taylor is driven by a commitment to her clients and is devoted to delivering thoughtful, high-quality work to achieve the best possible outcome.
Taylor graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2021 with a bachelor’s in communications. She was awarded the merit-based Barrister’s scholarship at University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. While in law school, Taylor was named best oralist in the Herzog Competition. She also served as a teacher’s assistant, tasked helping younger students improve their legal writing and oral argument skills.
Taylor has a passion for charity work and prides herself on the six months she spent in UIC’s Veteran’s Clinic. Her time was devoted to aiding veterans obtain benefits or discharge upgrades. She has also volunteered with Cara Collective, an organization aimed at helping individuals in need obtain meaningful employment while also providing training and professional coaching.
